Free ZOOM Forum

3/2/24, 4/6/24—Colleague organization OneEarth Jubilee (Jubilee Economics Ministry) offers a series of one hour, monthly “Jubilee Forums,” on the first Saturday of the month, 9am PT. Seeing that Jesus framed his entire ministry on Jubilee, we will too. There is no charge. Send an email to lee@jubilee-economics.org or john@jubilee-economics.org to indicate you plan to attend. In return, we will send you a Zoom link to the Forum. All forums will focus on how to address the existential issues people are facing by living the OneEarth Jubilee worldview.

Alternatives 50th Year!

Yes, Alternatives started in 1973. Then it became Alternatives for Simple Living, and most recently Simple Living Works! It began as a protest against the commercialization of Christmas with the annual “Whose Birthday Is It, Anyway?” Then we expanded to promotion of year-round Simple Living. Now we publish all online, focusing on OverConsumption and OverPopulation as the two primary drivers of the Climate Crisis.

We have worked for years with colleague organization Jubilee Economics Ministries (JEM – OneEarthJubilee.com), most notably with our OneEarth Simple Living Podcast (listen at http://simpleliving.startlogic.com/TCGP.html ), now cross promoting blogs and other publications. So, occasionally you may receive a newsletter from JEM. It’s well worth reading.

You have free access to many articles and illustrations for personal inspiration and congregational growth at https://simpleliving.startlogic.com/indexoth.php?place=archivesThemes.php. Create your own resources for voluntary simplicity on paper, online and/or audio.
